Baccarat Banque Standards
Punto banco is gambled on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (five plus 6 = 11; ignore the 1st ‘1′).
A third card can be given using the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank has a total of 8 or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player stays, the banker takes a card on a value less than 5. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the house stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a five percent rake. Commission are recorded and paid off once you depart the table so ensure you still have cash around just before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Gambled on properly baccarat gives generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Method
As with all games baccarat banque has a few common misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future actions. Keeping score of past results at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.
The most accepted and probably the most favorable method is the one, three, two, six technique. This technique is employed to maximize earnings and limit risk.
Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum of three units on the second bet. Should you win you will hold 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the third wager. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, put down two on the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth bet.
If you don’t win on the initial round, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the first 3 with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all four wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd wager 5 instances for each successful streak of four bets and still experience no loss.
