Baccarat Banque Practices and Method

Punto Banco Regulations

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus six equals 11; ditch the first ‘one’).

A third card could be given out depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the player has 5 or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is employed to see if the house holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The better of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you leave the table so be sure to still have funds around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays out at 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

Bet on correctly baccarat offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few accepted myths. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking previous results at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and possibly the most accomplished method is the one-three-two-six plan. This technique is used to maximize profits and limit risk.

Start by placing 1 unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, pull off four so you keep two on the 3rd wager. If you succeed on the third bet, put down two on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the fourth wager.

If you do not win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 instances for each favorable streak of 4 bets and in the end, experience no loss.
