Punto Banco Regulations and Scheme

Baccarat Rules

Baccarat chemin de fer is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, but the first number is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus six = eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be given using the rules below:

- If the player or house has a total of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has less than 5, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stands, the banker takes a card on a total less than five. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to decide if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The greater of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (equal money minus a five percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out when you depart the game so ensure you still have funds left over just before you head out). Winning wagers on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pay 8:1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus eight to one)

Played properly baccarat banque gives pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has a few familiar misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping score of previous outcomes on a page of paper is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and likely the most accomplished scheme is the 1-3-2-6 method. This tactic is deployed to pump up winnings and limit losses.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will have six on the game table, remove 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd round. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of 2. Success on the first 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to give up the 2nd bet 5 times for every favorable streak of four bets and still balance the books.
