Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than ten are of face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they just portray the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven … five will have a total score of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be dealt depending on the following guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Victorious bets on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie as a rule pays out at eight to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is a bad wager as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are noticeably better – nine to 1 versus eight to 1)

When done accurately, baccarat provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some common myths. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future events. Staying abreast of old conclusions on a chart is a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-three-two-six method. This method is used to pump up payouts and limiting risk.

commence by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
