Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued under 10 are of their printed number while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they strictly portray the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand will be the grand total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 … 5 will have a total score of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the following regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart shall be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen lower than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Nonetheless odds are remarkably better – nine to one versus eight to one)

When done correctly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not a predictor of future actions. Staying abreast of old results on a chart is simply a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful strategy is the 1-three-2-6 technique. This tactic is used to increase wins and minimizing risk.

commence by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
