Baccarat Banque Rules and Plan

Baccarat Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the beginning number is discarded. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (5 plus six equals 11; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card will be given depending on the rules below:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stays, the banker hits on 5 or less. If the player takes a card, a table is used to determine if the house stays or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (even money less a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you leave the game so ensure you have funds remaining just before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie normally pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9:1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. 8:1)

Played properly punto banco gives generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Course of Action

As with all games punto banco has a handful of common false impressions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping score of past results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most established and likely the most accomplished strategy is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is used to pump up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will retain six on the table, remove four so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. If you come away with a win on the third bet, add two to the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th bet.

If you do not win on the first bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of two. Success on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all four wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to not win on the second round five instances for every favorable run of four rounds and still experience no loss.
