Punto Banco Rules and Method
Baccarat Rules
Baccarat banque is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the first number is dropped. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given depending on the rules below:
- If the player or house gets a value of eight or nine, the two players stand.
- If the gambler has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player stays, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to determine if the house holds or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you depart the table so be sure to still have money remaining just before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie usually pays out at 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)
Bet on correctly baccarat chemin de fer gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Banque Method
As with all games punto banco has quite a few familiar misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future actions. Recording past results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.
The most established and almost certainly the most favorable course of action is the one, three, two, six technique. This method is deployed to pump up earnings and limit risk.
Begin by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, subtract four so you keep 2 on the 3rd bet. Should you win the third round, add two on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.
If you don’t win on the initial round, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the first 3 with a hit on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can give up the 2nd bet 5 instances for each successful streak of 4 wagers and still are even.
