Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are of their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they merely symbolize the two hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand will be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 will have a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the foll. practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or 9, then both players stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money less a five % commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have cash left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie generally pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties happen lower than 1 every ten hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are noticeably better – 9 to one vs. eight to one)

When played accurately, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually a predictor of future actions. Keeping track of old outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and probably most successful technique is the one-3-two-six concept. This schema is deployed to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
