Punto Banco Rules and Plan
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards
Punto banco is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are worth face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the beginning number is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (five plus six = eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A additional card could be dealt based on the rules below:
- If the gambler or banker gets a value of eight or 9, both players stay.
- If the gambler has five or less, she hits. Players stays otherwise.
- If the gambler stays, the house takes a card on a total less than five. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the banker stays or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5% rake. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you depart the game so ensure you have funds remaining before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays out at 8:1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)
Wagered on correctly baccarat banque provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games Baccarat has quite a few familiar misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future events. Tracking past outcomes on a page of paper is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.
The most common and likely the most favorable course of action is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This tactic is used to maximize profits and limit risk.
Start by placing one dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the game table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract four so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. Should you win the third round, add two on the four on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning all 4 wagers gives you with 12, a take of ten. This means you can lose the second wager 5 times for each successful run of four wagers and in the end, are even.
