Baccarat Policies and Method
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules
Baccarat is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; ignore the initial ‘one’).
A third card will be given out depending on the following rules:
- If the player or bank gets a score of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players otherwise stay.
- If the gambler stays, the house takes a card on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to see if the banker holds or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a five percent commission. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you leave the table so make sure you still have funds left over just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as ties happen less than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on properly baccarat banque offers fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy
As with all games Baccarat has a few familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future outcomes. Tracking past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and likely the most successful strategy is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is used to maximize earnings and minimizing risk.
Start by betting 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain six on the game table, remove four so you are left with two on the third bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.
Should you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st wager followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Success on the initial two with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a take of two. And success on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all four rounds gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can not win on the second round 5 times for each favorable streak of four wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
