Punto Banco Rules and Plan
Baccarat Banque Codes
Punto banco is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (five plus six = 11; ignore the first ‘one’).
A third card will be given out using the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, both players hold.
- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler holds, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to determine if the banker stays or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The higher of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to have cash around before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8:1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a awful bet as ties occur lower than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. 8:1)
Wagered on properly punto banco gives generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Banque Method
As with all games Baccarat has some accepted misconceptions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events about to happen. Tracking past outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.
The most common and likely the most successful plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This technique is employed to maximize profits and limit losses.
Start by wagering 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the game table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third bet, deposit two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.
If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you can squander the second round five instances for each successful streak of four rounds and still are even.
